Glam & Grime - Nottingham 18+

'Glam & Grime' is an alternative seasonal drag cabaret show hosted by frenemies Nefarious De Vile and Ash Bestos, and as alternative creeps, what's a better time of year to make our big debut than HALLOWEEN! 

We are hoping to provided a cast of performers with all kinds of talents and passions to share with us and of course the audience, from drag acts to burlesque to magicians, etc. The show is called 'Glam & Grime' as those two words suit alternative drag perfectly, we're dark, we're weird, we're grimy, but always captivating and glamorous!

This is an 18+ show, which will hopefully raise awareness through performance art for all kinds of causes from lgbtq+, trans-rights, neurodivergence, cancer, suicide prevention, mental health, black rights and so much more; we're all about celebrating gender, sexuality and body-positivity at G&G!

Beside having fun, feeling emotions and raising awareness, we wanna celebrate alt drag that's local to Nottingham as much as alt drag from elsewhere, because as alt performers, we have to stick together and book one another! We want to share our knowledge, talent and passion, and we want the performers booked to share their knowledge, talent and passion with us and the audience!

The poster reflects the sultry smokey mysteriousness of Nefarious and the fun pastel grunginess of Ash; we hope to celebrate the carefree, vulgarness and delusion within use all; the most important thing to us is that the performers show THEIR talent and passion, whether that's sexy, spooky, funny, political, classy, vulgar, reality, maybe even offensive, if it drives home an important message, etc.

We want to sell tickets through ThroneEvents By Cherry Valentine because we want to be able to say we have raised money for suicide prevention and mental health awareness with every show we do!  Hopefully you have a bit more of a picture of the reasoning behind our show and it's name and remember everyone is welcome at Glam & Grime, now let's get stunningly FILTHY!"
